Footscray Nicholson Campus – Victoria University
Footscray Nicholson Campus is located within walking distance from the Footscray railway station. This campus is situated in one of Melbourne’s most culturally diverse centres and provides facilities for an extensive range of TAFE programs.
Facilities at Footscray Nicholson campus includes the VenU restaurant, Albert Place student housing, and the Footscary Nicholson Children’s Centre.
VenU Restaurant serves as the university’s hospitality training restaurant that is open to the students, staff and the public.
Albert Place student housing is the closest student housing facility to the campus.
The Footscray Nicholson Children’s Center provides care for children aged three months to six years on a full-time, daily, sessional and ocassional basis.
The Student Village is a university owned residential complex that can accommodate 510 students on 12 hectares of parkland only 9 km from the center of Melbourne. It is close to public transport making travel to the campuses easy.
Sunbury Hall is a University owned residence providing accommodation for 120 students on the Sunbury Campus at 17 Circular Drive, Sunbury. A bus stop is located at the front of the campus providing public transport to Sunbury station and easy access to thecampuses. It is a 35km drive to the centre of Melbourne with easy access to the Calder and Tullamarine freeways.
Victoria Place is a purpose built apartment complex in Footscray with the goal of creating a living and learning community to foster academic achievement. It has 41 fully furnished apartments designed for students. Each room has disability access. The apartments are located at less than 7 km from the heart of Melbourne and is close to public transport and the Highpoint Shopping Centre.
