Australian Catholic University (ACU) – Brisbane Campus
Located in the northern Brisbane suburb of Banyo, the Brisbane ACU campus is around 12-kilometres from the Brisbane CBD.
The Brisbane ACU campus is set on 40-hectares of land. The campus combines state of the art facilities, along with a history dating back to 1863.
With over 2,500 students and in excess of 200 staff, the university facilities include a cafeteria, book shop, coffee shop, campus library, computer labs, swimming pool and extensive sporting ground.
The Student Association at the Brisbane campus organises events throughout the year, including an annual ball, green day, toga party, along with a range of other events.
Students with disabilities are catered for at the university, as are students with needs.
Brisbane, the capital of Queensland, is located in the south-east corner of the state, on the Brisbane River.
With a population of 1.6 million, it is friendly and relaxed with the convenience of a large city.
Close to the Gold and Sunshine coasts, it enjoys a mild tropical climate with average summer temperatures of 20–28C and winter temperatures of 10–22C.
