Bendigo Campus, LATROBE
Representing La Trobe’s second largest campus, the Bendigo campus has around 5000 students, both local and international, and almost 400 employees. The campus is located in the regional City of Greater Bendigo and occupies a 33 hectare land. The campus offers both undergraduate and postgraduate programs with strengths in the health sciences, education and visual arts.

The discovery of gold in the soils of Bendigo during the 1850s made it one of the most significant boom towns n Australia. It is also notable for its Victorian architecture and heritage and is the second largest inland city in Australia. The town took its name from the Bendigo Creek and its residents are called Bendigonians.
The town is classified under oceanic climate with typically dry and mild with cold winters. High temperatures are usually recorded during the beginning and end of the year with the rest of the year experiencing moderate temperatures.
