About Cradle Coast
Cradle Coast runs mostly on agriculture, forestry, manufacturing, mining and tourism. It covers approximately one third of Tasmania’s total land area and has now recovered from subsequent population declines. It is known for its diverse environment ranging from pristine wilderness to forests and coastlines. Cradle Coast also houses a number of cultural and natural heritage sites such as the Tasmanian Wilderness World Heritage Area and Arthur-Pieman Conservation Area.
