University of the Sunshine Coast, USC
Home to 8,000 students, the University of the Sunshine Coast opened in 1996 with only 500 students. From its humble beginnings, it is now one of the fastest growing universities that serve not only the Sunshine Coast area but also north Brisbane to the Fraser coast. USC takes pride of its excellent teaching and research programs which have consistently given it with five-star rating for teaching quality. With its distinctive architecture and facilities such as computer laboratories, lecture theaters, cafes and an award-winning library, USC certainly deserves its post.

USC provides on-campus accommodation through three options: the UniCentral, the Varsity Apartments and The Village. Residences are equipped with a kitchen, laundry area and furnishings. Internet connection and intercom systems are also provided for the students. The university also provides assistance for off-campus housing with its list of local renting sites.
