University of New England, UNE
Established way back during the 1920s, UNE was the first Australian university to be established outside the capital. Ever since its establishment, UNE has held its position as one Australia’s excellent providers of great teaching, training and research opportunities. New England also has offered distance education since 1955 and offers $2.5 million worth of scholarships and prizes annually.
Apart from its wide range of degree choices, UNE also supports research through its international relations and local collaborations with the community. UNE offers courses from the schools of Art, Humanities, Environmental Science, Law, Education and Rural Medicine, among many others.
UNE Student Accommodation
UNE provides student housing through 7 residential colleges and a village of self-contained units. Each residential college caters to no more than 300 students and you are given a choice for catered or self-catered residences. Click this link for more information on individual residential colleges.
