Lismore Campus, SCU
Three hours from Brisbane in the Northern Rivers region of New South Wales is SCU’s Lismore campus. Specialized facilities that may be found in the Lismore campus include the Moot Court and the Law library. The campus also has nursing and osteopathy rooms, sports and exercise facilities. It also has advanced science laboratories such as the biomechanics laboratory, medicine clinic and medicinal plant herbarium.
Majority of SCU’s programs are offered in the Lismore campus such as Law, Creative Writing, Music, Education, Environmental Science, Nursing and Indigenous Studies.
SCU Lismore offers three residential colleges to choose from: Orion, Sirius and Magellan.

Located in the northeastern part of New South Wales, Lismore is a regional center in the Northern Rivers region and is the main population center in the local government area. Once a part of a rainforest known as The Big Scrub, only less than 1% is left of this forest after the European settlement. This part is viewable from SCU’s Lismore campus.
Lismore experiences mild to warm temperatures throughout the year with ample rainfall. Summer temperatures range from 19 to 41 degrees Fahrenheit. Although there are usually no hazards in Lismore, it is known for its occasional flooding.
