Burwood Campus, Deakin
Located 45 minutes from Melbourne’s center, the Burwood campus houses 17,000 students and is known for its superb facilities and architecture. The campus also has a number of open spaces for socializing and studying. Apart from this, the campus also boasts of the Deakin University Art Gallery, a motion capture facility, an International English Language Testing System center, multi-purpose halls and other services such as cafes, bookshops and a medical center.
The Burwood campus offers courses on business, management, media and communication, psychology and creative arts among others.
On-campus housing is available for 200 students in a mixed gender, multi-cultural environment. Units have a communal lounge, kitchen, bath and laundry facilities as well as wheelchair accessible services. Students are provided with a bed, desk, shelves, wardrobe, phone and heater. The kitchen is also equipped with a fridge, oven, stove and basic cooking utensils.

A nice suburb found 12 kms west of Sydney in New South Wales, Burwood is home to 11,000 residents. The town is a mixture of residential, commercial and industrial developments and is also famous for its Victorian and Federation-style architecture. The Appian Way in particular is famous for its Federation-style homes. Ample transportation is available in Burwood, with the shopping district running alongside the Burwood railway.
