Located 136 kms north of Brisbane, Noosa’s main attractions are its numerous beaches and koalas. Its beaches are common destinations for surfers and an event is even held for this – the Noosa Festival of Surfing. The place also hosts a population of koalas which are seen in and around the Noosa National Park. Being a tourist destination, there are also plenty of hotels and restaurants around the area.
