Kalgoorlie Campus, Curtin University
With Kalgoorie being a historic mining town, it is not surprising that Curtin’s Kalgoorlie campus focuses mainly on mining and metallurgical engineering. Through Western Australian School of Mines (WASM), students are well-provided with quality mining and metallurgical education. Outside the town, which is located 600 kms east of Perth, is the largest open-pit mine in the country, Superpit.
