Casuarina Campus, Darwin University
Located 12 kilometers from the city center, the Casuarina campus situated in the northern suburbs of Darwin in close proximity of a beach and a major bus route. Set in a 56 hectare parkland, the Casuarina campus provides an extensive library, research facilities, bookshops, cafes, postal service and various recreational hubs. On-campus accommodation is also available in the Casuarina campus. For added security, inter-campus buses are available to service the students.

For CDU, on-campus accommodations are only available in the Alice Springs, Casuarina and Katherine campuses. However, one can also opt for off-campus accommodations which are provided by the Student Administration & Equity Services. This is a FREE service and confidentiality is exercised. On-campus stay in Casuarina is provided at the North Flinders International House which is a part of a network of international houses all over the world. It provides not only accommodation for local and overseas students but also an experience of the lush greenery.

Darwin is home to 75,000 people as well as a number of national parks, cultural centers and outdoor markets. It is service by land, air, and train lines not to mention by an extensive network of bicycle lanes and walking paths. The Casuarina campus is about 15 kilometers from the center and is within walking distance of the Casuarina Shopping Center, Darwin’s largest shopping district.
