Gold Coast Campus – CQU
Central Queensland University’s Gold Coast Campus is located at Southport, the business centre of Gold Coast. Built along the waterfront with 40km of beaches and just at 5 minutes drive from Surfer’s Paradise, CQU Gold Coast campus is an ideal destination for students who love the outdoors and want a more relaxed campus setting. The layout of the building as intended to provide students with easy access to all the University’s facilities as well as to give students some places to unwind between classes.
The campus is just a short walk away from the Southport Bus Terminal and has an easy access to the main Gold Coast area and Brisbane.
The facilities of CQU Gold Coast includes high-tech multimedia labs, wireless networking, photocopying facilities, and bookshop. The campus library provides an access to online databases to provide students access to the latest information in their fields. The student lounge area is equipped with microwave ovens, refrigerators and TV. Recreational facilities are also available where students may play table tennis and other board games.
The campus offers no on-campus accommodation but there are lots of options in close proximity to the campus or within easy reach by public transportation.
