With a diverse population of students from Australia and more than a hundred countries abroad, the University of Southern Queensland has established its name as one of Australia’s leaders on on-campus and distance education. Toowoomba Campus, USQ

Playing the role as USQ’s main campus, the Toowoomba campus is located just two hours from Brisbane. The campus has around 4000 students studying various degrees from areas of Business, Health, Engineering, Spatial Science, IT and a lot of others. The Toowoomba campus takes pride of its Japanese gardens, Australia’s largest and most traditionally designed Japanese garden. Of course, apart from aesthetics, the campus takes pride of its advanced facilities and lecturers recognized worldwide.

Student Accommodation

The Toowoomba campus offers on-campus residence via three residential colleges: the Concannon College, McGregor College and Steele Rudd College. You may opt for self-catered facilities or a fully-catered lifestyle. Residential colleges are furnished with single study bedrooms, meals, 24-hour security, linen service and a lot of other services. About Toowoomba

Also known as the Garden City, Toowoomba is Australia’s second largest inland city and the largest non-capital inland city. One of the sites to see in Toowoomba is the Australian Carnival of Flowers held every September and the Easterfest held annually every Easter weekend. The city experiences temperate climate with warm summers and cool winters with four distinct seasons.

Springfield Camps, USQ

The Springfield campus is located in Education City, 45 minutes from Brisbane’s CBD. More than 1500 students are enrolled in the Springfield campus to study Psychology, Business, Arts, Education and the like. USQ’s Springfield campus is close to the Brookwater Golf and Country Club and the Orion Springfield Town Center. There are also childcare facilities nearby as well as book shops and recreation facilities.

Student Accommodation

Residency for the Springfield campus is taken care of by the Education City Residential Village which is located 100 meters off-campus. The apartments are equipped with TV, DVD and kitchen equipment. About Springfield

Springfield is residential development area in Ipswich and is also known as the Greater Springfield Development. Despite its on-going development, the area is well-equipped with facilities such as the Orion Springfield shopping center and various secondary education campuses.

Fraser Coast Campus, USQ

USQ’s Fraser Coast campus provides education to more than 800 students, the campus, along with its lucky students, is located amidst pristine beaches with the perfect climate and cosmopolitan lifestyle. Unlike what is usually seen in other universities, Fraser Coast employs small sizes for its classes and is proud of its face-to-face teaching and distance learning. Students are also provided with quality facilities such as computer labs and wireless Internet access. The campus also has a very active Student Guild that organizes different events to ensure that everyone not only learn but also enjoy.

About Fraser Coast

Fraser Coast is known for its extensive coastline and the variety of flora and fauna that it houses. Alongside the Great Barrier Reef, it’s also a World Heritage site. As such, Fraser Coast is a natural magnet for tourists wanting a vacation or enthusiasts in search of humpback whales. In proximity to the coast is a number of national parks, woodlands and other diverse natural attractions at par to the Galapgos Islands and the Amazon.

Murdoch International

SMa Institute of Higher Learning

Murdoch University has a number of partners and study centers worldwide. Through them, the university is able to extend its quality education to other courtiers. Among its institutes abroad include the SMa Institute of Higher Learning. Since its establishment in 2004, SMa has continued to enhance Singapore’s human capital development. It is one of the leading and larger education providers in the region and continues to advocate stronger human capital for the region.

Kaplan Higher Education

The university also has the Murdoch University International Study Centre in Dubai which offers programs such as IT, Environmental Science, Education, Communication, Media and Business to people in Dubai. It was opened in 2008 in partnership with the Global Institute Middle East.

KDU University College

Murdoch also has partners in Singapore in Malaysia. Apart from SMa, Kaplan Higher Education also provides Murdoch programs in Singapore. It applies a rigorous set of standard operating procedures in order to ensure quality service. Peel Campus, Murdoch

Forming a strong backbone for Murdoch’s Peel campus is its School of Nursing and Midwifery. Known for its modern facilities such as simulation rooms, realistic hospital wards and high-tech audio-visual equipment, students are assured of ample and proper training experience. The school also provides an 80-seat video communications room, a multi-purpose lab and flexible teaching rooms. The university assures that upon graduation, Murdoch nurses are well-prepared for registration with the Nurses and Midwives Board of Australia.

Student Accommodation

On-campus housing is made available by the university through the Murdoch University Village. They provided 24-hour support for residents as well as a team of Resident Assistants. Security is ensured through swipe cards that access the common rooms and lockable bedrooms. About Peel

Peel is known mainly for its prosperous mining and mineral processing industries. The region is rich in bauxite reserves, gold and mineral sands and an aluminum refinery. It is located 75 kms south of Perth and is one of the nine regions of Western Australia. The region was initially inhabited by Indigenous Australians until it was opened as a settlement area during the 1820s by Thomas Peel.
